August 5 Day 35 Lake City REST DAY

It's a gloomy day, a good day for a rest day. Everyone is up and making their plans. Jim and Sam are looking forward to checking on the truck. Nancy, Sharon, and I are going into town to do laundry.
When we get back from the laundry we find out that the truck is ready to come back. Jim and Sam are ready to roll. They drop Roger, Larry, Nancy and myself off in Redwing. Not until I got there and found this Redwing store did I realize this is where Redwing work boots are manufactured, in the store is the largest boot in the world.
The mural is depicts the history of Redwing.
Travis was the fellow at the dealership that took care of the truck. Fortunately the sensor that was the issue was a warranty situation. He also washed the truck. It had all kinds of bugs from all the driving
It is rainy and misty on and off all day. We find the rest days are great, but the next day we feel sluggish from not riding. We are excited to get on the bike tomorrow. We had our meeting to get ready for the next week with the routes we will be taking. The people from Milwaukee will be going home for a few days and the "Texans" will be staying and riding in another area.
