We hit the road early and Roger and Larry were riding into Milwaukee. They would be staying at a hotel in downtown. We would catch up with them on the other side of Lake. Michigan on Wednesday.
At Trek World we went to several seminars and caught up with a lot of friends. The guys came in around noon. Sam got in from getting Larry and Roger's bikes. We would have them when they would cross on the ferry with all the others. The hotel we are in even has a bowl of dog cookies at check in for the pups.
The first night of Trek World John Burke gives a talk that we always enjoy. This one is special too. Last year he recognized some ladies that rode from Baltimore to Trek World. Well it wasn't our intention, but we got recognition for traveling the farthest this year. We even got a trophy. Thank you John and Trek, Mine even has a girl on it.
Below are some of the athletes that ride for Trek at one end is Jens Voigt at the other is Tony Kanaan who won the Indy 500 this year and happens to ride A Trek Bicycle. It was a good evening. We looked at new product for 2014 and saw friends. Tomorrow we leave to see Jim's old boss, Murphy and on to South Haven to see his 93 year old uncle Don. Then we catch up with everyone and on to Portland Main. Yahoo!
