August 20 Day 50 Kitchener On to Niagara-on-the-Lake On 149 Kilometers 93 Miles 1495 climbing

Good morning! Spotted this across the street from the hotel we were staying in. Saw it while we were getting ready for the day's ride.
This was in the town of Hamilton.  Pretty cool, eh!
No gravel today but a lot of turns on the cue sheet. We really had a time keeping a things straight.
This bike trail was along Hamilton Bay. There was lots of activity going on.
There are a really a two swans but one chose to hide in the grass and stick it's head under water.
We passed this little trolley on the path.
This is Tessa and Sondra. They teamed up together to work the lunch stop. Today was their last lunch. They found this great park to set up in.a

We took a off from lunch and eventually it was Roger, myself and Jim. We made a terrible mistake on a turn and wandered around and ask for directions. We eventually got to where I could use my GPS to  get us where we needed to be. We only added 8 more miles to our ride today. We were really tired.
It was a hot day, too!
We settled in at Niagara on the Lake. We are staying at a Best Western tonight. This is the most dog friendly hotel we have encountered. In the room they had a bed, dogs bowls, a bag for each with a toy, dog cookies and little poop bags.
in the evening several of us went into Niagara, The Canadian side to see the falls in the evening. This was a farewell dinner for Tessa and Sondra, they will be leaving us tomorrow.
Now we have Mike on the right. He is Jim's older brother and he will be going all the way into Portland Maine with us.
We went over to see the Falls. The first view point we saw this.we decided we better take the Incline down to get a better look
They have huge lights that shine on the  Falls that make all these beautiful colors. We will go by the American side tomorrow. It will be interesting to see if it is as commercial as the Canadian side.
There are huge high rise hotels and casinos. If it were in a straight line you would swear it was a mini
Las Vegas. After today's ride we are looking for something a little shorter. We will go over to the American side and check out the falls there.
