July 24 Day 24 Baker MT. to Bowman ND.47 miles 1165 climbing

Good Bye Montana!  This is Roger Hardman and Jim
100 yards down the road was the sign for North Dakota. Look at all those bullet holes.
This metal sculpture was way up in a hill.
This is the scenic Little Missouri River
We came up on this along the road. There are a lot of dinosaur skeleton and remains that have been found in this region. In Bowman there is a Pioneer museum that has a Triceratops on display.
Texas was instrumental in the growth of the cattle industry in Montana. It is written in the museum that the cattle from Texas thrived on the Montana grasslands.

We got into Bowman and a few of us went into town to see the museum. It was a really great museum. The volunteers from the city who put it together did an incredible job.  After that we went across the street to the Black Hawk for dinner. Back at the hotel now. Getting ready for tomorrow's
65 miles ride to Lemmon SD.
