July 21 Day 21 Forsyth MT.to Miles City MT. 47 miles 1457 climbing

As we were leaving Forsyth we noticed this hotel. What a great name for a western hotel
This is Chris Kegel. He had ridden this route with his daughter and some of her friends 3 years ago.
Now he is with us and his sweetie, Mary. Chris is recumbent rider extraordinaire.
This is Mary, Chris's sweetie. She just started riding, Chris told me up until this ride the longest distance  she had ridden since January was 50 miles. Yesterday was her first century!
Congratulations Mary!
Our friend Kurt who grew up in Miles City where we were headed, mentioned that if we saw this ranch sign it was a buddy of his that he grew up with. He described the ranch as "on either side of the road as far as up you can see is Clifford's Ranch.
Another amazing rest stop. It is like a little oasis out in the middle of nowhere. The only trees you find are around farm houses.
Welcome to Miles City. Here is another Kurt story. He says behind the sign is gumbo hill. They called it camel back because of the two humps. He said you didn't want to drive your truck there because you would get stuck and would not get out for a few days till it dried up. Something tells me he speaks from experience.
We crossed over highway 94 on a big overpass. As we were headed down the road we waved at the conductor of this train. He was blowing his horn for us.
We had been told by Kurt this museum is an amazing accounting of this area of the country. He said we definately should go. We went and ran out of time. This is Bunny. She said we could come back tomorrow, if she was not there just tell whoever that Bunny said it was all right. I took here photo  so
We have backup.
