July 19 Day19 Harlowton MT. ToRoundup MT. 70 miles 1046 climbing

We are up early and on the road. It's been pretty hot so we were all eager to get our 70 miles in before it is too hot.
This is Nancy Notley. Nancy is the reason we are all out here riding our bikes across America.
She got with Chris Kegel and set in motion all the logistics for the ride. She is a real sweet lady.
We rolled through the town of Ryegate and saw this Bar. I got elected to go back and take the picture.
For the record they do have a festival. Darn we missed it.
We stopped for one of the historic markers and this Sheriff pulled up. Several of us were concerned.
We had just gone through a construction zone where a guard was stopping traffic and we just rolled through. We were not sure if he was there to talk to us about doing that. Well the first thing he said was..."Where ya'll headed?" Today we were headed to Roundup and that is where he was from.
He told us about some places for dinner and took some fun photos with us. When we rolled down the road. He had just caught someone speeding. We all shaved goodbye to him.
Deputy Sheriff Gross
This was a fun stretch of road. It just went straight and rolly for a very long way.
Cindy and Damon are having fun finding places to stop. There is not a lot of shade, so when we do find them on the side of the road, they have the awning out. Everyone seems to hang out for a while before heading on in.
This is the welcome sign for Roundup. Is that cool We went to the Grand Resturant, recommended by Deputy  Sheriff Gross. It proved to be a great time. The place was full of locals and the food was really good. We went early because of the 100 mile day tomorrow. So Good Night. Talk to you tomorrow.
