July 16 Day 16 Lincoln MT. to Helena MT. 60 miles 2545 climbing

This guy was hanging it at the entrance to the Lincoln Hotel. Everyone is getting ready to ride. It's going to be a great day.
This bear was in the ranger station just outside of Lincoln.  He was a busy bear. I am sending the story about him below.

As we ride the scenery changes constantly. There are so many photos I have taken. It is hard to choose for my blog each day. I hope that the ones selected let you enjoy this part of the country as much as we are.
This is just before the summit of Flesher's pass. The people at the hotel told us to stop here. They claim it is the most beautiful view in Montana. In the photo you can see the road at the bottom where we started the climb. The highest percent anyone got was 9%.
And here is Flesher's pass. It also is  one of many points of the continental divide. Now for those who don't know what the continental divide is here is the answer. The water shed in the form of rain or snow that falls on the west side on the divide will flow to the Pacific. That which falls on the east side of the divide flows towards the Atlantic.
The descent down the pass was awesome. These guys were hanging out where the road leveled out a bit. I think they are the prettiest mules I have ever seen.
Jim cruising down the road. It just doesn't get much better than this. Tomorrow we ride to White Sulphur Springs, Mt.
