July 10 Day 10 Lewiston ID. to Orfino ID. 60 miles 1600 climbing

Back on Thursday July 4th we ate at a pizza joint. They had a claw machine there. I won 2 stuffed animals. I gave one to a little girl  who was amazed that I got not 1 but 2. Well, I kept the camel.we brought it out in the morning and ask people as they came out what day it was. Well it was Wednesday " Hump Day". It was funny Neven and Suzanne said camel day. We put him on my bike and he rode the rest of the day with us.
Neven is riding a rather old Trek Bike. He started having trouble with the bottom bracket. They had one sent in for him. The guys changed it out for him this morning..
This sculpture was on the way out of Lewiston on the aide of highway 12. It was amazing how much detail was in it for something just along the road.
Little break, little photo op. the is Jim, myself, Chris ,Mary,Suzanne,Neven and Sharon
All along Highway 12 you will find a lot of different pieces of information. In this case it is a legends
Below is the story and below that is the stones. So far we have not seen anything else like it during our travels.
It's a beautiful morning to ride .
The rest stop had a boat landing down on the Clearwater River. Doogie and Diggity. Decided to go for a swim.
This is the Bloomington Dam. Built in 1939. This was right on the way to Orofino. A quick left and right
got us into Lowell. Great place the river is running right behind it and offers wonderful soothing sounds of the water. The Resturant beside the hotel offered a wonderful meal and view of the river as well.
Tomorrow is a short day only 43 miles. The best thing is...it's my birthday!
