July 18 Day18 White Sulphur Springs to Harlowton MT.57 miles 1600 climbinng

First morning stop and Cindy and Damon found a wonderful a place. Today is a righteous tail wind ride. I call this a Mr. Jimmy Ride. One small climb then it was nothing but rolling hills you could pop the tops I just sit in behind him for an amazing road ride.
We rode up on these cowboys and their dogs herding the cattle. You could hear the cowboys
Whistling and saying things to the 3 dogs. It was neat to watch the dogs nip and hustle the cows
To where they needed to go. Below you can see two of the dogs in the left lower part of a the picture.
The name of the town Two Dot came from a rancher, George R. Wilson. It was his brand and he donated the land for the city. Two Dot was the Way Station for the now abandon transcontinental
Chicago,Milwaukee,St.Paul & Pacific Railroad. It is also was immortalized in a song Hank Williams wrote in 1983. The name of the song? Two Dot Montana
Some of the locals hanging out at the watering hole.
These are the Crazy Mountains. Originally called the Crazy Woman Mountains. A lady who was with a wagon train went crazy and escaped. They found her eventually in these mountains.
Our ride got us into Harlowton. We got in early so Jim and I went to the Museum.
Lot of old items from the prosperous days of the town. What they did have was a display of a home
From the 50's. Found it kind of strange seeing items that we grew up with in a museum
Tomorrow offers the same style of ride longer miles what is cool is we are going to a town called
"Roundup"
