Retread/5th Wheel Adventures Jan 12th Monday

It's Monday morning and those who are still here are are ready to race. Above is one of the sections
That was rerouted away from one of the trees the parks people were concerned about.

This tree seems to have attacked by an aggressive kite which is trying to choke it with it's tail.

Henry Sandusky getting his game face on. That's Tate Knowles in the background waiting for their race to start.
Henry on one of the stickiest, muckiest parts of the race. Mud was flying everywhere.
They put a type of mulch down on the course, which made the mud mix with it and it would get all
Gummed up in the brakes and bottom brackets

Just a glimpse of the course. When our guys  go through a section we race to the next section to
Watch them go through.  We did this for 4 days. It's a lot of work watching Cyclecross.
Rob Sandusky (Henry's brother) is one of those always with a quick smile. Even with the tension of the start of his race.
There's Rob running through one section. The start finish in the background.
Henry and Tate together with Jim.
While Henry,Tate and Jim are posing for photos Rob is still on his last loop. The day finished up with Rob finishing 16th place. For some reason my camera didn't get much activity the rest of the day.
We all said our goodbyes and wished everyone a safe journey home. Jim and I and the pups went back to our trailer and just relaxed. The first five days of our travel have been pretty darn busy.
Tomorrow we load up and head down to South Padre Island to see what we can find. It appears
That is will be getting much warmer there. After wearing long johns every days for 5 days it will be a welcome change. Good night talk to you on the road.
